George McGill received the first patent (US56587) for a small bendable brass paper stapler in 1866. It was a forerunner to the modern staple. [1]

He also obtained the patent (US212316) for the first commercially successful stapler in Feb 18 1879.[1]

On April 3, 1973, he made the first-ever cell phone call on the Dyna TAC 8000x from Sixth Avenue in New York while walking between 53rd and 54th streets.[2]

The first portable cell phone was made in 1973 by a Motorola engineer Martin Cooper. He is widely recognized considered as the father of the cellular phone.[2]

The World Wide Web was invented by a British Computer scientist, Tim Berners-Lee in 1989, while working at CERN. He perceived that the internet contains millions of items and each item needed to be uniquely identified.[4]

Pietro de’Crescenzi (c. 1230/35 – c. 1320), Latin: ‘Petrus de Crescentiis’, is considered as the father of agronomy. He was a Bolognese jurist and he is now commemorated for his writings on horticulture and agriculture, the “Ruralia commoda”.[5]

Andreas Vesalius is known as the father of anatomy because he was the first person to studied the human anatomy in detail. He dissected numerous human cadavers and made comprehensive notes and drawings of human anatomy. Based on his observation , he wrote and illustrated the first comprehensive textbook of anatomy.[6]

Edward O.Wilson was an expert on insects. He explored how natural selection occurs and other forces could influence animal behaviour. He practiced these analysis and research to humans. Therefore, he is considered as the father of biodiversity.[7]

Aristotle is widely known as the father of biology.
Although many philosophers established ideas on biology and life sciences, Aristotle is accredited for establishing biology due to his scientific ideas and systematic observations to examine the natural world comprehensively.

Karl Landsteiner an Austrian physician and immunologist  established the basis for the  advanced medical practice of blood transfusion by grouping blood types into A,B anc C .[9]

Herodotus is considered as the father of history. He was known for his systematic investigation of events in the history and he recorded historical events more precisely and reliably to the extent possible.[10]
